Trusty summertime shorts for days in the rays. Built from soft but seriously tough sanded canvas that can take a knock and just keep going. Beautiful hand feel that’s peachy to touch. Roomy pockets, button fly. Everything you expect from our trousers, just cut above the knee. Cut and sewn to our pattern in Leicester for this summer and the others that follow.

Woven for Brisbane Moss, a historic British manufacturer of moleskin and corduroy, once based in Todmorden, now in Burnley. Brisbane Moss-commissioned cloth is a seal of quality. - Proper belt loops
That fit a 1.5” belt. - 4-button fly
Buttons made from Corozo nuts by Courtney & Co, the last natural button factory in England, based in the Cotswolds. - 100% cotton 11oz heavyweight pocketing

The left hand pocket features our signature HebTroCo secret pocket - designed to keep your smaller items and loose change secure. - 2 x deep back pockets

His small team are the skilled hands behind the Bob Job Chore Coat, Echo and Magneto Vest, Denim Smock, and more recently the Decade Moleskin and Fireclay Cord trousers – all crafted with care. In the photos: Matthew is 5'10" / 13.5 stone and wears a 34 waist, 30 leg.
Our clothing size charts show the flat measurements of each garment.
Since everything we do is made by hand, there can be a slight variation between pieces (up to 2% either way is considered within tolerance). Natural fibres can also shift slightly during production, with a bit of stretch or shrinkage being part of the process.

Not all shorts are created equal, especially when Hebtroco make a pair, as you would expect the quality is second to none, no form over function here , big roomy pockets, great fit & cut just right, you can tell they will last for years & yet manage to be instantly comfortable from the get go, the canvas is so tactile & soft to the touch & yet you just know it’s a strong hardworking fabric that will keep on going, don’t forget the warm fuzzy feeling you get knowing you have bought British & while getting solid well made clothes you are supporting homegrown, family owned businesses, that & the superior service you get from Hebtroco the question is “ why wouldn’t you buy a pair?” … in fact I Just preordered my pair of Billy shorts in Bedford Cord

These shorts are great – the usual quality item from Hebtroco. They fit well and will last years.
My only complaint is that Hebtroco keep releasing products i really want to buy this is my third item in as many weeks!

Lovely shorts, nice roomy fit for good airflow, peachy hard wearing fabric in one of my favourite colours, practical sized pockets. Overall, very pleased with these shorts, just as I was with my denim shorts purchased from a Hebtroco a few years ago which are still going strong.
